Smart Septa
Overview
ILT’s innovation in manufacturing capability has enabled us to design and produce septa, that have a radio frequency tag (RFID) embedded within the silicone material. Products have been tested to withstand the laboratory rigors used for analysis of environmental samples, headspace samples and well plate storage conditions. Ability to scan tags with any commercially available RFID reading device.
• Track samples at the individual vial/cap level

• Protected from chemical sample within the silicone/PTFE layers.

Application
SmartSepta®, SmartCap® and SmartMat® products can withstand various temperature ranges without affecting the readability of the RFID tag or the information. Used under any laboratory condition Smart Septa can be utilized with customers own software system. Sample analysis tracking and processing data recording. Inventory control for all samples.
