The CLSI is a non-profit organization that develops standards for laboratories internationally, seeking to foundationally improve patient care overall. Those standards are recognized and used by government agencies, accreditors, and laboratories. CLSI utilizes industry expertise and volunteers help to create best practices, guidelines, and products for laboratories, while organizations adopt CLSI standards to improve testing outcomes, maintain their accreditation, and navigate regulatory restrictions.
