18mm PolyMag Cap
Overview
The 18mm PolyMag cap uses a polypropylene cap with a steel embedded crown on top for all magnetic transport systems. The polypropylene cap eliminates the challenge of applying a steel screw cap to a glass vial that could create a presence of small glass particles in the sample. Polypropylene is easily applied to both glass and plastic screw thread vials. The steel crown is applied to the top of the 18mm polypropylene cap and does not interfere with the functionality of the liner application.

Application
All applications using a Headspace instrument and a magnetic transport system for moving vials. Liner choice will determine final application suitability. This cap is available using silicone/PTFE, butyl/PTFE and PTFE/silicone/PTFE.
