ILT has eliminated this problem by creating its own patented Inter-Seal^® bonding process that bonds silicone/PTFE and other elastomeric compounds directly into thermoplastic and thermoset closures for use with glass and plastic containers.

ILT’s proprietary innovation is a chemically inert process that produces a true bond at the molecular level between the septa and the plastic cap without using adhesives. Because of their unique, patented design, our Inter-Seal^® caps eliminate expensive and time consuming hand assembly. The septa are properly seated and completely secured within the vial opening, thus preventing fallout. The bonded septa are also uniform, which minimizes coring and eliminates excess evaporation due to improperly seated septa within the cap.
